Everyone's favorite greedy performing troupe leader, Arieeeess Cadenzaaaaa~
Mandatory background story:
Caught and arrested for pickpocketing at a young age, Aries lost his right ring finger as punishment in accordance to the law. However, instead of allowing his lost digit to inhibit him, Aries went on to thrive in its absence and became extraordinarily adept with the remaining nine digits. He dedicated himself to mastering dexterous feats, ranging from sleights of hand, juggling, instrument playing, to perfecting the art of stealing without being caught.
In fact, having a little less weight on his right hand enables him to move all that much more quickly and perform slightly more complicated tricks that other 10 fingered street performers can not do. He prefers not to wear the fake wooden finger, but will in order to go around unnoticed (in towns where they are in hot pursuit of a certain 9 fingered musician lD) and or cause a distraction by losing his finger suddenly, in a move of desperation he dubs the "gecko's tail".
After years of jumping from troupe to troupe, Aries finally broke away and decided to start up his own little faction of performers. Unfortunately, he has not been able to keep a consistent number of players over the years because of his shrewd and cheap nature. Presently, he only has two other members in his performing guild. He is willing to allow any talented individual to join, but buyer be warned, Aries is a talent nazi. He will work his troupe members as hard as necessarry to bring out their full performing potential. Add this to his tendency to sell members out and one will see why he only has two members still remaining xD
Facts:
-Aries is a blatant cheapskate. He will and has sold out fellow troupe members for a quick buck.
-Some say that he is so tight with his money because he is sending money to pay for his sick mother's medical care.... Or to an ex-lover as child support.... Or to himself simply because he is an avaricious douchebag.
- The name Aries Cadenza is as fake as his wood finger. He changes names every couple of towns that he visits. Probably as a precaution to hide his notorious nature. Either that or he sold his real name to some witch out there. Who's to say.
- Although he is as adept at the art of scamming as any self respecting street performer, Aries is ridiculously superstitious. Keeps charms on his person at all times. Has a silver knife on him with the moniker "Barbara Allen's Cruelty" to keep demons and piskies at bay. Also prone to believe whatever fortune is told to him.
- Can not stand those new fangled camera devices. Photographs fit in under his superstition as the devil's work. That and Wanted posters with photographs on them are quite more damning than simple artist depictions.
- Never wastes money on booze or women. Rather charm people for those anyways.
-Weakness= Older women
- The only two things he will never attempt to pawn are his violin and hat. If it comes down to it, he will wander the streets naked as long as he gets to keep those two items lD
- Is actually a very hard worker. IS always working on a new skill or song. Does not like to repeat his performances too much and likes to keep a variety of abilities up. Although he may be stingy with the money, he does his job more out of the reason that he loves what he is doing.
